This page is about things to do in the Garden, with the credit crunch well and truley upon us, we may be lending money to the banks the way things are going and more and more people are going to be looking at ways to save money and growing your own vegetables could be one way to do that and have some fun at the same time.

All you need he says is a spot of land in your garden or if you don’t have any soil available you could buy your self a grow bag and have it in the garden on the patio or on a balcony if you live in a flat and grow some tomato’s for example.

We did this last year and our children loved it. They would go out side at the weekends to water the tomato plants and think watched as they grew over the weeks then as they started to turn red. They finally got to pick them and wash them and have them in a salad, they really loved it and keep asking us when we can start growing some more.
